Description
Bug Shield is a pure blend of the following ingredients: 100% pure Lavender, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Cedarwood,  Clove Bud, Tagetes and Thyme essential oils. No carrier oils are in this blend. Therefore it can be used in a diffuser. Dr. Denise Olivier formulates all of the OilGrow Blends with an expert knowledge of each oil. She takes extra care that the chemical constituents are a perfect synergistic match.
OilGrow Bug Shield is specifically put together to help repel pesky summer bugs. It helps keep mosquitoes at bay. And will repel all sorts of bugs including house flies, ticks, fleas, lice, stable flies and mosquitoes.
The blend is available in 5ml and 10ml quantities as well as in a lotion and spray. We now also have a 10ml Bug Shield Roller bottle in the mix. This roller bottle is easy to use directly on the skin since the blend is mixed with Grape Seed Carrier oil. It is already diluted so you can use it topically without worries. Perfect to take with you on the go as a oil-based perfume.
How to use the Bug Shield Blend?
Since there are no carrier oils used in the blend, it can be diffused in an aroma diffuser. Add 3 drops into the diffuser chamber AFTER adding the water. Pick your preferred setting and enjoy the bug free and earthy scent all day long. Use in areas where house flies tend to be often, or at night in the room where you sleep. We suggest that you start with 3 drops and only increase if you feel 3 is not strong enough – according to preference.
Be cautious when using on animals. They have a very sharp sense of smell. Lightly spray their bedding and coats, keep away from their eyes. Diffuse only maximum 3 drops in rooms where animals are present. They will refrain from sleeping in their beds, or will leave the room if the smell is too strong. Toxic when ingested. Do not spray directly on cats even when diluted. Can be used on their bedding, on couches and beds as a linen spray.
